About the workshop:
-First off this class is great for beginners. You will learn that mixed media is flawed art made beautiful so there are no mistakes
-You will be creating your very own spring gypsy girl using various mixed media products and techniques.
-You will learn all about how to create a beautiful background using different mixed media products and techniques.
-You will use multiple art supplies such as patterned paper and dress patterns to create deliberate layers, textures and wrinkles for your background.
-You will learn how to apply them using a matte medium as your adhesive.
-I will introduce you to and show you how to use some of my favorite inks, acrylic paints, sprays, India Ink markers, Prismacolor pencils, stamps, stencils and much more. All of these disparate elements create an unexpected harmony.
-Last, I will also show you how to shade and detail your gypsy girl using vivid colors so that she comes to life.
